Emma Rose Bargetto is a junior who has taken the role of sports editor for the first semester of the 2016-17 school year at The Vista. This is her first year at Monte Vista Christian, after attending Soquel High.  Gymnastics is one of her many talents and also her passion.  After high school she plans to either go to Seattle or San Francisco and study kinesiology.  Looking even farther ahead, Emma would like to see all seven wonders of the world, and travel to every state.  If the last name sounds familiar it’s because it’s the same family that owns Bargetto Winery in Soquel. The family is humongous. “I have around 27 first cousins, then there's like 200 more of us,” Emma said. When she’s not doing school work or being an amazing gymnast, Emma likes to relax and watch Netflix.  Her favorite show is Friends, and she thinks Ross is the best.  Her favorite holiday is Christmas.  She can't wait to bake cookies and put lights on the tree.
